13 countries participated in the
first ever World Cup by invitation of the host country
No stamps were issued to commemorate this historical tournament, but there were four special cancels used before the competition. All are scarce with Type I and Type II b the rarest.

This is one of rarest among the four. Seldom seen applied with date cancels on complete covers. One source indicates that it was used for only 9 days in early 1930.

found if you are lucky, on pieces or more likely on Graf Zeppelin covers used
in May and June of 1930.
